Dear Susan,
Your rounded tummy is a mark of being female! Don't be fanatical about trying to achieve a flat stomach, that is the prerogative of men. Avoid details that add volume ie front zips, front-patched pockets, open pleats). Instead go for flat-fronted trousers and skirts. Patterns (not stripes and checks) will also help to disguise your tummy, as will wearing a dropped belt. A looser fit will be more flattering. |
