Dear Maggie I am going to a Valentine's dinner dance and don't like pillar box red, any advice on a red I could wear? Louise, Tsada
Dear Louise Red comes in a variety of shades with all kinds of undertones. The key is to find your undertone and then determine what season you are ! are you cool or warm tone ? Depending on your skin tone there is a red out there for you. There are many reds you can choose from apart from pillar box, depending on your colouring, ie; blue red, scarlet, geranium, watermelon, true red, orange red, tomato red, rust, ruby. Pink is a great alternative, it's still red except with white added ie fuschia, rose or hot pink; or try burgundy, raspberry, claret, ruby. How about salmon pink or coral. Don't forget to match your lipstick and nail varnish with your outfit. Happy Valentine's! Maggie |
